The rabbit and frog are from the famous Chōjū-jinbutsu-giga, a famous set of four picture scrolls, or emakimono, belonging to Kōzan-ji temple in Kyoto, Japan. These are sometimes referred to as Japan's first Manga.
Each Tenugui towel is carefully hand-dyed by artisans using the traditional CHUSEN technique, ensuring that every piece is uniquely crafted with precision and care.
