Description
  • Patern for Sake lovers
  • Traditional Japanese tenugui towels are a perfect union of traditional craftsmanship and modern functionality
  • Tenugui can be used as fashion accessories, kitchen towel, table runners, placemats, napkins, and as modern ornamentation to bring a splash of colour and Japanese taste to your home.
  • Each item is carefully handcrafted with utmost care by master craftsmen
  • The tenugui become more beautiful with aging

The double-ring design at the base of a sake cup is used to evaluate the sake's clarity and color during tastings. Known as the "janome" pattern, or snake's eye, it gets its name from its resemblance to a serpent's eye. This elegant detail also adds a refined touch when gifting sake bottles to those who appreciate fine sake.

Each Tenugui towel is carefully hand-dyed by artisans using the traditional CHUSEN technique, ensuring that every piece is uniquely crafted with precision and care.

Size: Approximately 33cm. wide and 90cm. long
