The double-ring design at the base of a sake cup is used to evaluate the sake's clarity and color during tastings. Known as the "janome" pattern, or snake's eye, it gets its name from its resemblance to a serpent's eye. This elegant detail also adds a refined touch when gifting sake bottles to those who appreciate fine sake.
Each Tenugui towel is carefully hand-dyed by artisans using the traditional CHUSEN technique, ensuring that every piece is uniquely crafted with precision and care.
