Description

Perfectly designed Kumidashi tea cup

  • Made from Amakusa clay from Kumamoto Prefecture
  • A collaboration between modern design and craftsmen
  • Paired with the Tea Saucer to give a modern twist

A cup of tea when waking up in the morning. A cup of tea for a break in the afternoon. A cup of tea in the evening. This tea cup and a tea saucer are paired perfectly and compliment each other giving it a modern twist.

Amakusa pottery stone from Kumamoto prefecture was baked in the kiln of Hasami Town, Nagasaki prefecture. The raw material was not refined too much, leaving a natural texture.

Dimensions: φ8.8 x H5.5 cm
Material: Ceramic
Place of Origin: Nagasaki, Japan

The saucer that compliments the tea cups has a sturdy weight and a beautiful object to protect your table from spills.

Use, wash, and wipe dry with a towel to avoid water stains.

Dimension: φ135 x H26mm
Material: Copper/Tin

Place of Origin: Nigata, Japan

Note: Saucer sold separately.
